About Brent

Having “grown up” in business and sales, from selling tickets to the Pancake Supper sponsored by my hometown Lion’s Club when I was nine or ten, to working in my family’s car dealership in small town Iowa beginning when I was 12 until my mid-20’s, to a long and prosperous career outside Chicago as a mortgage planner (something I still do and am wildly successful at), I realized long ago that if you treat clients and customers with respect and integrity, truly listen to what they want, approach them with a sense of true vulnerability, they will, more often than not, reward you with their loyalty and their business.

It is with this baseline belief that I began my quest to change the world of selling and sales forever.  This “manifested” itself in my “Selling is Dumb Manifesto.”  My mission is to speak to and train the business world on how to leave traditional sales tactics behind and to approach things from an entirely new perspective.  The end result is more (smart) sales, happier clients and a better bottom line.  I would love to speak to your organization, you can contact me here.
